PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The proposed project aims to identify the benefits of operating a recycling facility as opposed to the conventional practice which is landfill disposal. Specifically, the study will identify (1) the environmental cost of landfilling (2) the energy savings and reduction in emissions gained through recycling (3) economic value in terms of profitability and job creation. This information will help stakeholders to make informed decisions related to the management of construction waste. The methodology of this study has been represented with the schematic diagram shown below see Figure 1.
